Suzanne Bart grew up in Ambler, PA, a northwestern suburb of Philadelphia. In addition to research, Suzanne has also codeveloped the Chem Teens conference at Purdue, which is a one-day workshop for high school students aimed at increasing diversity in the chemical sciences through interaction with faculty and students in the chemistry department.
She graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in Horsham, PA, in 1997 and headed south to the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, as a chemistry major. She has recently won an NSF CAREER award and has been named a Cottrell Scholar.
